podcast art, logo designs, visual communication strategy StarTalk is a popular science, pop culture, and comedy show hosted by Neil deGrasse Tyson. Across its digital channels, the show has over 35 million followers. The StarTalk team needed a brand refresh including cover art and a new visual identity for StarTalk+, a spinoff channel featuring additional content and clips. Working with the StarTalk team, we created a clean and minimal direction that incorporated new headshot photography and a new logo design. The bold gradient overlay helps the artwork stand apart in a sea of podcast thumbnails. The simplicity of the cover and refinement of the logo offer a strong foundation to build brand equity over time, while still allowing flexibility to grow the brand and its channels.
