NBC Winter Olympics

Role: design Designed a homepage landing experience pitched to NBC for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. Worked closely with creative directors and UX designers to create a beautiful, immersive landing experience for the Winter Olympics that included live feeds of events, as well as a tiled aggregation of content based on relevance and time. Aside from creative a beautiful landing experience, our goals were to incorporate and highlight Team USA’s involvement throughout the games, introduce native advertising techniques, and create diverse kinds of content including videos highlights and replays, photo slideshows, quotes from athletes, and news articles from various media outlets covering the games.
