In collaboration with Major League Baseball, the Prostate Cancer Foundation created the Home Run Challenge. In the weeks leading up to Father's Day, donations are given based on the number of home runs hit.
I was responsible for the art direction and design of the donation site for MLB and PCF, as well as additional marketing creative to raise awareness of the event.
In addition to a central donation site design, we pitched 'The Bow Tie Pledge,' a concept that created even more awareness through fan and player interaction.
The bow tie is a powerful symbol representing fatherhood, the ability to provide and masculinity. We felt it was an appropriate and respectful icons to fathers everywhere.
Players were to be interviewed speaking of the importance of their father's in their lives and careers, and bow ties were to be given to every child at the ballpark on Father's Day.
